A classic piece of British design, this early DA sofa designed by Ernest Race has a welded steel frame with coil sprung seats and beech legs. Recently reupholstered in a high quality bouclé wool fabric in cream. Light and anatomical design, very comfortable.
The DA range was launched in 1946, it was Ernest Race's interpretation of a wingback chair and sofa. This was upholstered furniture for the modern space conscious home. Originally conceived in collaboration with Heal's of London the DA Series was a radical departure from traditional bulky armchairs of the past.
