CLAUDE VICTOR BOELTZ Sculptural golden gilt-plated exploded bronze lamp with rock crystal inclusions. The natural rock quartz crystal wands are set into the base of the lamp. The brass adjustable head highlights a polished variegated agate slice.

 

Made in France around 1970. Highly decorative, this lamp is a work of art and a definite conversation piece.

 

Claude Victor Boeltz (born 1937) called this technique 'Exploded Bronze', famous in the early 1970s and his works were carried by luxury retailers such as Fred Joallier and Cartier, Paris.
